Problem:
While the platform offered strong analytical depth, the user experience made equity data difficult to navigate and interpret. Inconsistent structure, limited accessibility, and low emotional clarity reduced trust and slowed decision-making.
Process:
We spoke with employees and HR stakeholders to understand how equity data is reviewed, discussed, and acted upon within organizations. We then analyzed how users interpret dashboards and move from insight to decision, informing a redesign focused on clearer hierarchy, simplified data interpretation, and reduced cognitive load.
Stakeholder & User Interviews:
We conducted stakeholder and user interviews with HR managers, People Ops leads, and compensation analysts to understand how equity data is reviewed, interpreted, and acted upon in real organizational contexts. These conversations revealed patterns around hesitation, trust, and decision-making that directly informed dashboard structure, language framing, and data hierarchy.
